Refund policy

1) 7-Day Return Window (Change of Mind)

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery only if:

  • Product is unused, unwashed, unaltered

  • Tags/labels intact, original condition/packaging

  • Order ID available

Example 1: Checked at home, not used → return accepted.
Example 2: Used once outside → return rejected.

 


 

2) Non-Returnable Items

Returns are not accepted for:

  • Customized / personalized / printed-to-order items

  • Final Sale / Clearance / Non-returnable items

  • Items with stains, misuse damage, heavy wear & tear

  • Free gifts/promotional add-ons

 


 

3) Wrong/Damaged/Defective/Missing Item (Strict Proof Rule)

Report within 48 hours of delivery.

Unboxing video is mandatory for claims related to:

  • Wrong item

  • Damaged product

  • Defective product

  • Missing item/accessory

Unboxing video must be:

  • One continuous recording (no cuts/pauses/edits)

  • Showing sealed package (all sides) + shipping label + opening + issue clearly

No continuous unedited unboxing video = claim rejected.

 


 

4) How to request a return/replacement

Email contact@juteearth.in with:

  • Order number

  • Reason

  • Photos (general returns)

  • Mandatory unboxing video (damage/wrong/missing claims)

Pickup/return instructions will be shared after approval (serviceability depends on location/courier coverage).

 


 

5) Return pickup charges

  • Our mistake (wrong/damaged/defective): pickup FREE + replacement or full refund

  • Change of mind (India): ₹99 pickup fee deducted from refund

 


 

6) Refund timeline (Next business day after receipt)

After we receive the return and it passes quality check, refund is initiated on the next business day to the original payment method. Bank timelines may vary.

 


 

7) Quality check

If the product is used/soiled/altered or tags are removed, return may be rejected. If rejected, we may ship it back (shipping may apply).

 


 

8) International orders (DDU) — duties/taxes are not refundable by us

International shipping is DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid) unless clearly stated otherwise.
Any customs duties/taxes/fees paid to your country’s customs/courier are not collected by Juteearth and cannot be refunded by us.

If you refuse delivery or refuse duty payment and the shipment is returned/abandoned, shipping/handling and other non-recoverable costs may be deducted from any eligible refund.

 


 

9) International change-of-mind returns (Allowed)

  • Allowed within 7 days of delivery (unused, tags intact)

  • International return shipping is paid by the customer

  • Pickup availability depends on destination coverage

  • Outbound shipping and non-recoverable logistics costs may be deducted where applicable

  • Refund initiated next business day after receipt & QC pass

 


 

10) Cancellation & COD

  • Cancellation allowed only before dispatch

  • COD is not available (prepaid only)
